Your income from Gramex is officially designated as so-called B-indkomst (B-income). Please note that this means that no taxes have been deducted from the amount you receive from Gramex.
We advise all rightsholders to set aside funds towards paying the taxes later. We will submit information about your income to the Danish tax authorities called SKAT.
Tax authority notification
The Danish tax authorities, SKAT, will be notified of your income from Gramex via your social security number (CPR) or your CVR if you own a record company with a CVR number.
Submit your TIN number
If you do not have a Danish CPR number, if you do not live in Denmark or are a citizen of another country, we are obligated to send a TIN number to SKAT. Then, SKAT will contact your local tax authorities in the country you live in.
To protect your personal data, we ask that you submit your TIN number and TIN country code via My Gramex under your profile and update your current address.
If you are an international agent, please update the TIN numbers, country code and current address on all the rightsholders you represent via My Gramex.
If the country of residence is not on the list of TIN country codes, because the country does not use TIN numbers, please confirm/update your current address and country of residence.
If you live in the EU, you can find more information here
If you live outside the EU, you can use this link
As Gramex is obligated to disclose the TIN number and address to the Danish tax authority (SKAT), we reserve the right to stop payments to you if your TIN number and country code is not registered with us.
Please note that a TIN number is not the same as a VAT number.
